Bornholdt<\/strong> is a retired bookseller who lives in Western Michigan with his wife, Susan, and three Golden Retrievers. He holds degrees in philosophy and theological studies. His poetry has been published in <em>Ekstasis<\/em>, the <em>Berkeley Poetry Review<\/em>, <em>Pace Journal<\/em>, <em>Vita Poetica<\/em>, the <em>Amethyst Review<\/em>, and other literary journals. When not writing or playing with the dogs, he works on improving his tennis and tries to make a dent in the stacks of unread books in his study. He is currently working on writing poems based on themes from St. Augustine&#8217;s <em>Confessions<\/em>, as well as an ekphrastic series on Mark Rothko&#8217;s
