I pray Jesus,<br \/>pray Mother of Jesus, pray back and forth begging<\/p><p>them to open the kitchen door because close friends<br \/>always come to our kitchen door and when at last<\/p><p>it happens, it is as subtle and soft as any ballet\u2014<br \/>complete: no splintered pieces. No wreck this shed,<\/p><p>freed flesh soothed by an unseen hand, as though<br \/>the body breathed afresh, even as breath
