Shake together the brandy and liqueurs with ice, and strain into a coupe. Add two very generous dashes of the bitters, and squeeze a lemon wedge or otherwise add a (again, generous) splash of lemon juice. Float the bay leaf, and serve.

.75 oz. cherry Heering
.75 oz. Amaro Meletti
