Mind is an interstitial archeologist casting negative space from castoff
Styrofoam. Mind paints ceramics
red and teal, fires the kiln.
Mind sculpts a tiger by layering floor up shapes cast in the empty space left
by laptops, vases, mirrors, cups.
The pace of a mass produced vase forms
grooves for fur. Gloss on the eyes burn at 2200℉. Mind finds
tigers by dumpsters pacing
in the empty space of castoff Styrofoam,
brings them to room
temperature.
