Trouble the Woman
By Megan Foster
1.
A woman
came
and she poured
woman,
a beautiful thing
always. My body,
I say to you, is proclaimed
in her.
And while he was, he was reclining––
very costly and
broke.
Why the waste? This could have
been
more.
But why trouble
you. Have the poor you want.
Truly,
claim the whole world.
One
woman, when
she was
behind him, began to
tear the hair of her head and kiss his
feet.
As
if this man were who and
what woman is for.
Her sins are many for she loved
him.
Jesus therefore came,
and
Mary therefore took of
him and
gives.
Jesus said she may keep it
for always.
